First you would choose your product and request a quote. If the quote is to your satisfaction, you can convert it to an order.
Artwork is submitted through our quote form at the time of requesting a quote. If you have questions prior to submitting your artwork, you can email our sales team at sales@stadriemblems.com and someone will get back to you, typically within the same business day.
No, not at all. If you do not have artwork, you need only to describe what you are looking for, and our skilled Art Department will provide you with a beautiful, professional design. However, if you do have a sketch or even unfinished artwork, it would be easier for our artists if you submit it. It will also aid our Art Department in making your final design as close as possible to what you are envisioning.
Our Art Department prefers vector file formats such as cdr, eps, pdf, ai, or svg.
We will also accept psd, jpg, gif, bmp, tif, or png.
All artwork is free with your order, and we do allow multiple revisions to a reasonable degree. We will do as many revisions as it takes until your artwork is exactly what you are envisioning. However, if we reach a point where concepts get scrapped and our artists are required to start over multiple times, we may charge a revision fee, or recommend that you try to flesh out exactly what you want before requesting more changes.
Yes. If you send us a high quality photograph of your existing patch, we can get it extremely close in most cases. If there's no room for even the smallest variation, you can mail us your patch and we can duplicate it exactly. If you need us to mail the original patch back to you after production is complete, we can do that.
Absolutely. One of our artists will prepare professional artwork and post it to your account. You will be notified by email once your artwork is ready for review. We will not proceed to the next step until you approve the art.
Yes. After you approve your artwork, we will produce an actual patch and post a photo of it to your account. You will be notified by email when this sewn sample is ready for your review. We will not proceed to full production of your order until you approve your sewn sample.
While there is no standard size, some sizes are more common than others. Our most popular sizes are 3", 3.5", and 4". These sizes work in the majority of settings and usages.
While there is no standard size, some sizes are more common than others. Our most popular sizes are 1-2". These sizes work in the majority of settings and usages.
The size used to determine pricing is called the overall size.
The overall size is determined by adding the length and width and then dividing by two. In other words, it is the average of the two dimensions.
For example, a patch that is 5" x 3" is considered a 4" patch overall. When looking at our pricing chart, you would use the 4" size to determine your pirce.
Yes, we do. We have a full in-house art department, and artwork services are free with your order.
This greatly depends on the size of your patch as well as the type of patch you order.
For example, woven patches allow for more detail than embridered patches, and a 5" patch will allow for much more detail than a 2" patch.

For patches, you may have up to 10 thread colors for free. Each additional color is 15 cents per patch.
For pins, we allow 6 enamel colors for free. Most other pin companies allow 4.
Unless you have specific Pantone or other official color requirements, we recommend letting our art department match thread colors to your design. While we do have an Online thread color chart for you to reference and choose colors from, individual monitor calabrations will vary, so it's best to let our artists choose colors, as they have the physical thread chart in front on them.
We can certainly take your PMS, MADERIA, ISACORD, or Robinson Anton color codes and match them as close as possible to our special thread charts. Please note that sometimes there is not an exact color match for your requested color, however, even in those circumstances there is almost always a very close match.
As long as every other apect of your patch is the same—including the oveall size—we can do multiple color versions on the same order. However due to the production process, pricing will vary depending on the number of different colors.
We can do multiple color versions with pins, but with a flat, $20 color-change fee.
We proudly offer patches made in the US as well as overseas, depending on your time frame and budget. Please let your account manager know if you have a preference.
Due to US environmental laws, there are no companies that manufacture enamel pins inside the US. Screen printed pins are the exception to this. View our complete pin FAQ page for more information.

Many factors influence pricing. The base price for the vast majority of our custom products is determined by size and quantity, although many other factors can influence price, including number of colors, backing, specialty threads, rush service, etc…
In June of 2018, the U.S. Supreme Court (SCOTUS) issued a decision on case (South Dakota v. Wayfair) that changed how Sales Tax was to be collected in the United States. Prior to that decision, e-commerce companies (like Stadri Emblems) only needed to charge and collect sales tax in a "Nexus State", or a state in which they had a physical location. For us, this meant we collected New York State sales tax. However, due to new tax laws implemented across the country in response to the SCOTUS' decision, Stadri Emblems is now required to charge and collect taxes in a variety of states. We are not alone in this change, as you may have noticed other online retailers have changed their sales tax policies as well.
If you are shipping to a state in which we now collect sales tax, we will charge the appropriate amount to your order. Sales tax is calculated based on your shipping address, so please make sure your shipping information is accurate. For our international customers, Military Mail customers (APO/FPO/DPO), and customers living in states that do not require us to collect sales tax, you will not notice any differences going through our easy-to-use ordering system.
For customers that are tax exempt, please contact your account representative with your tax exemption information. If you have any questions, please contact your account representative or email sales@stadriemblems.com for more information.
Once your quote is finialized and your order placed, the only additional charges your order could incuur are shipping, and possibly sales tax depending on your state.
We do not have any hidden charges or fees, including setup fees or artwork charges.
Of course, if you make chages to your order after it's placed, such as size or quantity changes or the addition of special features, this could alter your pricing.
Our pricing and minimum order is per design. The only design variations allowed within the same order are thread colors and border and backing types.
You may pay by credit card (Visa, MC, and AMEX), money order, or personal check. Make checks payable to Stadri Emblems. We also accept Paypal.
Standard production time for embroidered and woven patches is typically 10-12 business days from final proof approval; pins and PVC patches can take 15-20 business days. No delivery date is guaranteed unless discussed and approved at the time of placing the order. We offer a 7-9-business day rush service for embroidered and woven patches. This adds 20% to the cost of your order.
We ship FedEX Ground or USPS Priority Mail unless the customer specifies otherwise.
For most products, shipping is 14.99. The shipping cost will increase for very high quantity orders.
